Parents are encouraged to contact teachers with any questions or concerns.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Homework Procedures<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Although homework will be posted daily on Google classroom, it will be the responsibility of the student to copy assignments accurately and completely into his\/her planner during the course of the school day.<\/p>\n<p>In Grade Three, we also have these procedures in place:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Homework is to be completed daily\u00a0and signed by a parent.<\/li>\n<li>If homework is not completed, the student will sign the classroom homework book.<\/li>\n<li>More than three missing assignments during a trimester will result in a reduced grade on the report card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Grading Procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Students will be evaluated on their daily work, class participation, homework completion, tests, quizzes and quality of individual and\/or group projects.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Service Project<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">This year, the students in Grade Three will participate in a year-long service project and well as contribute items for a Christmas meal for a less fortunate parish family.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Discipline Procedures<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Each classroom seeks to foster the values of a Catholic, Christian community:\u00a0 kindness, courtesy, respect, and cooperation.\u00a0 Please refer to the policies outlined in the <a href=\"http:\/\/olmcs.org\/?page_id=37\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">School Handbook<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Teachers: Carolynn Poiesz and Kristen Bierly Communication Teachers may be contacted any time via email.
