Parents are encouraged to contact teachers with any questions or concerns.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Homework Procedures<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Homework and long-term projects when assigned will be posted on the Google classroom for Grades 4 &#8211; 8. \u00a0It will be the responsibility of the student to copy assignments accurately and completely into his\/her planner during their music period.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Grading Procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">In Music, students in Grades 4-8 will receive a numeric grade of &#8220;1-4&#8221; indicating the level of performance demonstrated. Open the rubric that will be used to determine the numeric grade\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/new.ourladymtcarmelschool.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/ArtMusicComputerSpanish-Report-card-rubric2012.pdf\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">75% of the trimester mark will be composed of grades for homework assignments and tests.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">25% of the trimester mark will be composed of grades for class participation and cooperation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Extra credit will be given to students who participate in Co-curricular Choir, Tone Chimes and Band.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Discipline Procedures<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Each classroom seeks to foster the values of a Catholic, Christian community: reverence, kindness, courtesy, justice, respect, hospitality and cooperation.
