Our Lady of Mount Carmel School Library is located in the Jubilee wing of OLMC School. The
collection includes over 10,000 materials, including books, audio books (Playaways),
magazines, and tech equipment.
Circulation is approximately 400 to 500 items per week, and the catalog is managed using Destiny Library Manager software program. A student computer is available to access the library catalog. The library also features a SmartBoard and a Lego wall.
Library skills are taught sequentially by the librarian and integrated into the curriculum through
collaboration with the classroom teacher. Students are free to come to the library outside their
regularly scheduled period: before school, during Resource, or at the teacher’s discretion.
