Homework Procedures
Homework and long-term projects when assigned will be posted on the Google classroom for Grades 4 – 8. It will be the responsibility of the student to copy assignments accurately and completely into his/her planner during their music period.
Grading Procedure
In Music, students in Grades 4-8 will receive a numeric grade of “1-4” indicating the level of performance demonstrated. Open the rubric that will be used to determine the numeric grade here.
75% of the trimester mark will be composed of grades for homework assignments and tests.
25% of the trimester mark will be composed of grades for class participation and cooperation.
Extra credit will be given to students who participate in Co-curricular Choir, Tone Chimes and Band.
